 Kollinger
continues to grow
Despite the general financial crisis Kollinger Metallbau GmbH
has its sights set on growth and is equipping itself for the
future by further extending its company premises.
The ground-breaking ceremony for the next 2,150 square-metre
production area took place at the end of last year. By spring
2009 already the hall, which is to serve as a high-bay warehouse
with an order-picking area, is to be ready for use.
The hall hitherto used for high bay storage will then be available
exclusively for the extended assembly department and hence the
efficiency of the in-company processes will be further optimised.
By extending assembly and enlarging the high-bay warehouse and
picking area, Kollinger will be able to deal with the constantly
increasing demand for services regarding “all aspects
of metal construction". In past years Kollinger has significantly
extended these services and made a name for itself owing to
this meanwhile extremely broad range of services, and not just
for its exceptional vertical range of production. |

Since January Kollinger possesses the official TÜV seal
for the certification of its quality management in compliance
with DIN ISO 9001:2000. This certification is a sustained manifestation

from Zirndorf: Follow-up order for Metz TV stand
Anyone purchasing a TV from the Metz Axio series still obtains

park extended: New sheet metal laser cutter comes from Trumpf
The new TruLaser with an output of 4 kW is used for laser-cutting
sheet metal panels up to 25 mm (structural steel). It has automatic
loading via a LiftMaster with unloading trailer. The work area

is 70! Congratulations.

 Shopfitting:
Kollinger becomes a member of dlv (German shopfitters’
association).
As Germany’s leading supplier to store construction companies
and shopfitters, by becoming a member of the dlv Kollinger intends
to continue to stabilise and intensify the existing close relationship
to customers. “The objective is to fulfil customers’
wishes even quicker and better” according to Managing
Director Thomas Bender, “and that is best achieved in
an ongoing dialogue for which the dlv provides the ideal platform.”
As a member of the “Netzwerk Ladenbau” (shopfitters’

Investment:
A new coil punching system
The new ebu Burkhardt press has a pressing force of 125 tonnes
and an integrated electronic feed for punching metal parts up
to 5 mm thick and up to 300 mm wide. The new automatic punching
unit is used in the production of serial components for customers
in industry and shopfitting. |

Inventor 2009 – the latest version
For 3-D modelling and digital prototyping from now on we will
be using Autodesk Inventor 2009, the most recent version of
Inventor.
